Productivity Model vs. Shift model Seeking Hospitalist wanting High Income Potential, a Large Hospital and Large Group of 20 Hospitalists and works Efficiency!!! Currently 21 day shifts: Monday – Friday, some week-end rounding and they take call Nocturnists do the new admission with NP & PA support- Big Hospital 400+ Beds, have 265 patients daily on service, around 18-20 docs on shift daily to cover- Patient load is 15-20 patients a day, could go to low 20’s Schedule will move to 6 days on , 4 days off sometime in future, no confirmed date as of yet. Additional shifts are available for additional income- Productivity bonus of 140K is an average, many Hospitalists are making 300 and above- Hospitalists round in the ICU, subspecialty support if needed- Client is Procedure neutral, if you like to do procedures great, if not, refer within.
